¿What is TweetBot?
Its a small application based on the TwitterVB library, its an automatic status changer for the Twitter micro-blogging service , with this tool you can tweet all day without touching your PC or phone, just write your tweets or load them from a text file and start the bot.
¿How do i begin using TweetBot?
Start by adding tweets to your queue, put your twitter account details and then click "start bot" button in order to start posting your status, you can set the interval in minutes between every tweet, i suggest you make a big tweet list to avoid being repetitive.
¿How do i load a text file to TweetBot?
Click on tweet admin button, then on the administration form select load file, select the file to load on the Open file dialog, this file should be separated in lines, one tweet per line, if you write a tweet in two lines you'll be posting the message in two parts, so if you manually created the text keep this in mind.
¿How do i save my list of tweets?
Click on the Queue admin button, and then click on the save file button, enter a name for your file.
¿Why TweetBot only accepts 138 chars if twitter accepts 140?
Tweet bot uses two chars to insert a randomized char at the beginning of the message in order to avoid message block by twitter with the duplicated entries, this feature can be deactivated in the check box "Insert random char to avoid duplicate post block" on the main form.
¿Can i have many instances of tweetBot running at the same time?
Yes you can, even from different accounts, but since TweetBot its based in the tweet api implementation on the TweetVB library, there is a limit of 150 Api user per hour, so if you don't want to get blocked and you still want to use many instances of Tweet Bot I suggest you use another PC, with a different IP
¿Its tweetBot intended for spamming?
No, you should not use this application for spamming, if any twitter user reports you as a spammer your account can be blocked, so i I'm not responsible if you make a bad use for this tool.
¿What is the "Recursive Tweeting" feature?
Its an optional feature that can be used to restart the queue list and post all the time, this feature promotes tweetBot too, so you'll post a status promoting this tool once when your tweet queue begins, and then the automatic status posting list will restart at the beginning, without re-posting this promote message, you can deactivate this feature any time you want.
