NO USB 1.0

I just create a simple application to disable the USB mounting, once you disable USB mounting, no storage device will be mounted on your computer, this is very helpful when you dont want to get any viruses or information stolen, even at work you can disable the USB storage mounting to prevent against information thieves.

The UI its very simple, just check / uncheck to enable / disable USB mounting, program runs in background when you try to close it and it minimizes to tray.

To close the application instead of close button use the exit option in the tool strip menu, or the exit option in the tray icon context menu.




It works in windows XP and windows Vista, it asks for permissions via the UAC prompt, limited users may get the "runas" prompt to elevate privileges.

It wont disable another devices like printer, keyboards or any device that its not meant for information storage.

You can use the application and then close it, the USB storage mounting will keep its enable / disable state until you open the application and change its state.
